Nokia Lumia 800 |
I once tagged Nokia Lumia 800 as the fastest phone in the world. This is the first of it's kind in the Nokia Industry, with Windows Mango Operating System. In no time from now the Symbian OS(Operating System) will be dead, giving room for new varieties of Nokia Windows Phones. It was released late last year and has been reviewed worldwide as one of Nokia's best phones. I believe that Nokia's decision to drop the Symbian OS is a wonderful development, coz people wants things done easier and faster; which I think is the main reason for the introduction of Nokia Windows Phones.
Nokia Lumia 800 is a touch screen phone, and doesn't have keys. It has an in built memory capacity of 16GB. When it comes to connectivity speed there's no need for the phone to have a Dual core processor, It was built with 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM which is enough to run any program fast.Lumia 800 also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for connecting over WLAN networks, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, and NFC. It also comes with Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 browser.
Price? Talking about the price, the current price is £380 which is approximately N95,000. I'm not saying this is the exact price it is sold in Nigeria Phone outlets, but if you visit any Nokia Center in Nigeria you might get it at that price(i.e when it comes into Nigeria, hopefully before the year runs out). Nokia Lumia 710 has most of the features of Lumia 800, but at a cheaper price.
